Did you know? SLS parts aren’t actually “melted” — they’re sintered, and that changes everything🔥

Most people assume SLS works like FDM or SLA where the material melts or cures. But in SLS, the nylon powder is heated to just below its melting point, and the laser only fuses the surfaces of the particles.

🦾Because the powder bed is already so hot, the laser needs very little energy to bond the particles — which is why SLS can create parts with incredible strength and isotropy compared to other 3D printing methods.
