PrimeCell Bioscience a.s. in collaboration with IKEM, Institute of Physiology of the CAS, v. v. i. and ČVUT has demonstrated in a pig animal model that the developed vascular patches integrated into the recipient after transplantation and ensured the patency of the vein without symptoms of thrombosis, stenosis or aneurysms. The results are an important next step toward clinical testing of decellularized xenografts in patients.
