In September 2024, we proudly completed the elegant remodel of a stunning historical apartment in the heart of Prague.

This post showcases the sophisticated transformation of the bedroom, guest room, office, hallway, and two bathrooms. The following post will show the rest of this remarkable apartment.

• Restoration of original features: all wooden windows and doors were meticulously restored by our skilled professionals. To enhance privacy, we modified the interior bedroom door, replacing its glass panels with wood, while maintaining the apartment’s classic aesthetic. The windows were properly resealed to ensure better insulation properties.

• Entrance renovation: the main entrance and hallway underwent a thoughtful renovation. To preserve the original metal security door and reduce costs, our master craftsman applied a faux wood finish, giving it an elegant new look, while also refreshing the door handles and peephole.

• Bathrooms: experienced a complete transformation, including repositioning sanitary fixtures and adding heated floors. The centerpiece of the bathroom is a spacious walk-in shower with recessed niches in tiles and a seamlessly integrated mirror. The highlight, however, is the installation of stunning Italian tiles from Mirage, featuring large-format pieces measuring up to 278x128 cm, adding a bold and chic touch.

• Custom furniture: all wardrobes and much of the bespoke furniture throughout the apartment were custom-made in Germany by our expert carpenters partners. These high-quality pieces were crafted specifically to meet the client’s vision and needs.

• Lighting: every light in the apartment is dimmable, from the vintage chandeliers in the hallway to sleek modern fixtures in the other rooms, creating the perfect ambiance for any occasion.

This entire project was executed in close collaboration with our partner designer architect, strictly following the approved design plan to ensure every detail was flawless.

In September 2024, we successfully completed a full remodel of a beautiful historical apartment in the heart of Prague.

This post highlights the spacious living room, featuring three large windows and high ceilings. Following posts will show the rest of the rooms of this apartment.

• Due to the original separation of this room, the floor levels were different, which necessitated reconstructing the entire floor structure to ensure a level surface. This allowed us to install new wooden parquet flooring in a herringbone pattern, as well as skirting boards.

• All the walls and corners between the walls and ceilings were carefully leveled. We applied fiberglass plastering mesh for cracking prevention and finished with a coat of washable Dulux EasyCare paint ().

• We updated water & sewerage systems for the new kitchen, adapted heating pipes and fittings for the new radiators from Kermi (), and completely rewired the electrical system, creating six light zones with dimmable lights and new electrical sockets throughout the room from Jung (.group). Additionally, we installed an electrical fireplace that effectively heats the space.

• Main light feature is the “sun”— a large ceiling light with a gold-plated base and a hidden strip of LED lights, inbuilt in the drop ceiling and installed by our workers.

• All doors and windows underwent surface renovation by our craftsmen, where the old paint was stripped, repaired, and repainted.

• All of this work was carried out in collaboration with a designer architect from Germany, carefully following the approved design plan.

In august 2024 we completed roof & facade reconstruction of a family house in the vicinity of Prague.

Original facade was replaced with wooden cladding using Rhombus Siberian larch, giving the house a modern and natural appearance. In addition, we insulated the facade, significantly improving the building’s thermal insulation, ensuring greater energy efficiency and enhanced comfort for the residents.

Due to the insulation and thickening of the facade, it was necessary to extend the roof to properly cover the new dimensions of the building and protect the facade from weather conditions. New roof not only harmonizes aesthetically with the facade but also meets high standards for durability, insulation, and weather protection.

As part of the renovation, we also remodeled the bathroom inside the house. We incorporated modern design elements and high-quality materials to create an elegant and functional space that aligns with contemporary trends and the client’s needs.

This project is an example of our ability to carry out comprehensive renovations, including both aesthetic improvements and functional upgrades that bring long-term benefits. Our work is always tailored to the individual needs of the client, with a focus on quality, detail, and energy efficiency.

Ke konci ledna 2024 jsme úspěšně dokončili celkovou rekonstrukci luxusního bytu, pečlivě realizovanou podle designového projektu mezinárodního studia V. Concept Design Studio.
