Press Release: Meeting of the Editorial Board of the Journal Research in Agricultural Engineering on May 28, 2026

On May 28, 2026, an online meeting of the Editorial Board of the journal Research in Agricultural Engineering (RAE) was held. The editor presented the current status of the journal, focusing on the quality of submitted manuscripts, the development of the Scimago Journal Rank (SJR) value, the journal's inclusion in the respective quartile, and other key indicators. An important part of the meeting was also information regarding the inclusion of the RAE journal in the Web of Science database. A significant item on the agenda was a discussion on Artificial Intelligence (AI). The editorial board members addressed the possibilities of working with AI tools within the editorial process, their integration into scientific practice, and the establishment of clear rules and ethical options for their use by both authors and reviewers. In the subsequent discussion, the board members focused on opportunities to support the further growth of the journal, emphasizing strategies to increase the number of high-quality article submissions. In conclusion, the Chairman of the Editorial Board thanked all members for their active cooperation and support of the journal to date. The next meeting of the editorial board is tentatively scheduled for December 2026.
