ČAZV se loučí s váženým kolegou prof. Ing. Vladimírem Jeníčkem, DrSc.

S hlubokým zármutkem jsme přijali zprávu o odchodu pana prof. Ing. Vladimíra Jeníčka, DrSc., významné osobnosti české vědy a dlouholetého spolupracovníka České akademie zemědělských věd (ČAZV).

Pan profesor Jeníček byl dlouholetým čestným členem Odboru ekonomiky, řízení, sociologie a informatiky ČAZV a zasvětil významnou část svého profesního života vědě, výzkumu a rozvoji vědeckého publikování. Po úctyhodných 33 let vedl vědecký časopis Agricultural Economics, vydávaný ČAZV, a svou odborností, zkušenostmi i mimořádným nasazením se zásadním způsobem podílel na jeho rozvoji a mezinárodním renomé.

Pro ČAZV však nebyl pouze respektovaným editorem časopisu. Byl také váženým kolegou a člověkem, jehož osobnost, moudrost a lidský přístup zanechaly hlubokou stopu ve všech, kteří měli možnost ho poznat a spolupracovat s ním. Jeho dlouholetá práce i odkaz zůstávají trvalou součástí historie ČAZV.

Pane profesore, děkujeme za vše, co jste pro ČAZV vykonal.

S úctou vzpomínáme.

Press Release – Editorial Board Meeting – Agricultural Economics – Czech, June 24th, 2026

On 24 June 2026, an online meeting of the Editorial Board of the scientific journal Agricultural Economics was held. The meeting was conducted in English and was attended by international members of the Editorial Board. The meeting was chaired by the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Ing. Lukáš Čechura, Ph.D. The Editorial Board discussed the current development of the journal’s bibliometric indicators and the status of the peer-review process. Particular attention was paid to the development of the Impact Factor. Board members emphasised the need to strengthen the journal’s international visibility. The meeting also addressed opportunities for collaboration, as well as activities aimed at promoting the journal and attracting high-quality submissions.
