Virtually zero waste! Just 0.013 g per nozzle swap. ✨
With INDX, every material has its own dedicated tool and nozzle, so there’s no need for a large wipe tower when switching colors or materials.
During a tool change, INDX purges around 13 milligrams of plastic to stabilize the pressure inside the nozzle. That’s about the weight of a grain of rice. That’s 5× less than the most efficient systems and 30× less than standard filament rewinding systems.
No massive wipe tower taking up print volume. No large piles of wasted filament. Just the minimum amount of material needed for the next nozzle to continue printing. ♻️

Maker Meditat is creating full-color halftone prints on the Original Prusa XL using his custom Blender Geometry Nodes tool. 🎨 Instead of traditional multi-color printing, it directly modifies the print paths to create smooth color gradients using up to five filaments. Proper Printing set out to combine 3D printing and milling, but ended up developing a custom G-code post-processor that can switch between the two. He even figured out how to purge filament directly inside the print!
