Ještěd: když Hutní montáže, a.s. stavěly jednu z ikon českého inženýrství 🏗️⛰️

Dnes je Ještěd symbolem Liberce, Libereckého kraje i české architektury.

Málokdo ale ví, jak významnou roli při jeho vzniku sehrály Hutní montáže, a.s. z Ostravy.

V 60. letech vznikal na vrcholu Ještědu odvážný projekt architekta Karla Hubáčka – spojení hotelu, restaurace a televizního vysílače do jediné unikátní konstrukce.

A právě ocel se stala jedním z klíčových prvků této stavby.

🔩 Vítkovické železárny vyrobily ocelovou konstrukci o celkové hmotnosti přibližně 286 tun.

🏗️ Hutní montáže Ostrava následně zajistily její montáž přímo na vrcholu Ještědu.

Nebyla to běžná montáž.

Stavba se nacházela ve výšce přibližně 1 012 m n. m., v náročných horských podmínkách. Jednotlivé konstrukční díly navíc musely být dopraveny na staveniště s ohledem na omezení způsobená lanovou dráhou – maximální výška přepravovaných dílců byla pouze 2,3 metru.

Výsledkem se stala konstrukce vysoká přibližně 90 metrů, jejíž charakteristický tvar dodnes patří k nejvýraznějším českým stavbám 20. století.

Ještěd není jen architektonický symbol.

Je to také ukázka toho, co dokázalo československé strojírenství, ocelářství a montážní řemeslo už před více než půl stoletím.

A Hutní montáže, a.s. byly u toho.

Od Ještědu přes další televizní a rozhlasové věže až po dnešní mosty, energetické celky a velké ocelové konstrukce pokračuje tradice, která začala v roce 1953.

Montujeme velké věci. Už více než 70 let. 🇨🇿

Firma Hutní montáže, a.s. - Spolupráce při výcviku vyprošťování letadel na Letišti Leoše Janáčka Ostrava

📌 Na Letišti Leoše Janáčka Ostrava v Mošnově proběhl mezinárodní výcvik hasičských záchranných týmů ze Saúdské Arábie, Indie a Finska zaměřený na vyprošťování uvízlých letadel z přistávací plochy.

📌 Jsme hrdí, že Hutní montáže, a.s. mohly být součástí této mimořádné akce. Pro výcvik jsme poskytli náš mobilní jeřáb, který asistoval při manipulaci s letadlem během praktických ukázek. Taková cvičení prověřují připravenost záchranných složek i techniky v situacích, kdy rozhodují zkušenosti, koordinace a spolehlivé vybavení.

📌 Děkujeme všem organizátorům a zúčastněným týmům za profesionální spolupráci. Jsme rádi, že jsme mohli přispět našimi zkušenostmi a technickým zázemím k úspěšnému průběhu této významné mezinárodní události.

Company Hutní montáže, a.s. - Bridge in Rader Hochbrücke, Germany

📌The company Hutní montáže, a.s. continues to perform welding and assembly work on the steel bridge structures of the Rader Hochbrücke bridge in Germany near the city of Rendsburg.

📌 This 1,498 m long and 48 m high bridge, which is part of the federal highway 7, spans the Kiel Canal connecting the North Sea with the Baltic Sea.

📌 It is the second longest steel road bridge in Germany.

Company Hutní montáže, a.s. - Rheinbrücke Duisburg-Neuenkamp (new bridge on the A40 motorway over the Rhine)

✅ The new bridge on the A40 motorway in Duisburg, Germany, represents one of the most significant bridge construction projects currently underway in the Rhine region. The entire eight-lane motorway crossing is designed as two separate bridge structures, with each traffic direction carried on its own deck. Both structures are supported by a system of 80 stay cable bundles anchored to four dominant pylons.
✅ The total length of the bridge is 802 metres, while the main span between the pylons reaches 380 metres. The bridge deck is situated approximately 42 metres above the River Rhine, and the pylons rise more than 71 metres above the deck level.
✅ The project is exceptionally demanding from a technical perspective and combines several advanced er****on technologies. The approach sections are being constructed using incremental launching methods, while the sections above the river are assembled using balanced cantilever er****on coordinated with the installation and tensioning of the stay cables. The project also involves extensive high-altitude works during the assembly of the steel pylon segments.
✅ Hutní montáže, a.s. is also participating in the project, carrying out the assembly of selected parts of the steel bridge structure. The scope of work includes the precise positioning and connection of individual bridge segments, assembly of pylon sections, and coordination of complex er****on activities at significant heights above the River Rhine.

📌 Hutní montáže, a.s. is currently involved in welding and installation works on the steel bridge structures of the Rader Hochbrücke, located near Rendsburg in northern Germany.
📌 This important infrastructure project along the A7 motorway spans 1,498 meters in length and reaches up to 48 meters in height. The bridge crosses the Kiel Canal, a key waterway connecting the North Sea and the Baltic Sea.

Company Hutní montáže, a.s. - The reconstruction project of the Edvard Beneš Road Bridge in Ústí nad Labem
📌 In May 2025, the long-planned reconstruction of the riveted Edvard Beneš Bridge in Ústí nad Labem began. For the company Excon, which is the supplier of the new steel structures, the dismantling and assembly works are carried out by the workers of Hutní montáže, a.s.
📌 The work consists of installing temporary and er****on bracing, dismantling and installing the central part of the bridge deck, and cooperating in lifting and lowering the bridge onto its permanent bearings.
📌 The replacement of the steel parts of the bridge deck has been taking place since January 2026, starting from the center of the bridge and progressing field by field toward both sides of the deck. The bridge deck is 100 meters long and consists of a total of 22 fields.
📌 The dismantling and installation phases involve cutting off the entire cross-beam with the hangers of the old structure along the marked plane and replacing it with a new, lighter bolted structure.
Planning of the work with other subcontractors takes place on a weekly basis, also due to the large volume of material that must be removed from and delivered back to the construction site at the correct time, as well as the handover of work areas between the individual companies.
📌 After the installation of the new steel structure is completed, the bridge will be lowered onto its bearings. This will be followed by the possible removal of temporary and er****on structures, which will mark the completion of the works carried out by Hutní montáže, a.s. a.s. on this project.

Company Hutní montáže, a.s. - Crane
🚧 A unique engineering operation at Cvilín near Krnov
At the pilgrimage site Cvilín Hill above Krnov, an extraordinary event took place something never seen there before.
Using a massive crane, a fully restored 18.5-ton tower was lifted back onto the roof of the Baroque church Church of Our Lady of Sorrows and the Exaltation of the Holy Cross. This millimeter-precise operation involved around 15 specialists, including experts from Hutní montáže, a.s. The work followed months of preparation and careful waiting for suitable weather conditions.
👉 The tower had been removed in October, fully restored, and now returned to its original position after several months.
👉 The overall restoration of the site continues, with total costs reaching tens of millions of Czech crowns, largely supported by the EU IROP programme and other partners.
👉 Completion of the entire project is expected by 2027.
This operation was not only a technical challenge but also a powerful moment for the local community, showcasing the connection between historical heritage and modern engineering. 🏗️
