❄️ Reflecting on the Winter Semester ❄️

We’ve been a little quiet lately, but that’s because our members have been busy with exams. At RWTH, it’s the lecture period followed by a long exam phase that lasts until the new semester starts! 😅

Despite the busy schedule, we had some incredible opportunities at the end of the last semester. In January, we shared the story of NeuroTX with Santander Germany’s CEO and RWTH Aachen’s Rectorate. We’re grateful for Santander’s funding through the Social Entrepreneurship Program ( ) and it was an honor to thank them in person. Their positive feedback has made us even more excited about what’s to come! 🙏🔥

Later that month, we were also invited by the Mayor of Aachen to join clubs and initiatives across the city in the New Year's reception. The event was organized in Rathaus, the beautiful town hall with a rich history dating back to the 14th century 🏰. It was an honor to meet other inspiring individuals doing amazing things in the city of Aachen.

With the new semester starting tomorrow, we’re optimistic about the future. We can’t wait to meet even more incredible people and achieve even greater things! 💪

🎊 Happy New Year 2023 🎊

Last year was an interesting year for us at NeuroTX. We participated in multiple events organized by our friends at , , and . We hope that some of you would know more about our passions through these events, or if not, through our (hopefully a bit more active) social media.

We also kickstarted our third project, the 3D-printed robot arm “Bucky”. 🦾 Soon, we expect the project, as well as the wheelchair “Xavier” and the racing game “Brain Dream”, to reach its important milestone. We cannot wait to tell you all about that!

Last but not least, we were excited to welcome 10 more enthusiastic team members last year! 🔥 With this great team, we aspire to accomplish more than ever in this new year. How about you folks? What’s your next move for 2023? 😄

Beyond the gifts and decorations, essentially, Christmas is all about home and family. 🏠👨‍👩‍👧‍👧

As a very international team, NeuroTX Aachen has members from different origins all across the world. This time of the year is an occasion for some of us to return to their hometown and celebrate this special time their own way. These are some pictures from them:

It's photo shoot time! 📷

Two weeks ago, we had good fun with our photo shoot in the film studio at . The photos with our fabulous model 🕺✨ will be used in our new website (shhh don't tell anyone about it 🤫) and possibly promos in the future.

We also had an opportunity to welcome new members to our den at Collective Incubator. Hope this semester will be a fun and productive one! 💪

Last Friday, we had a great opportunity to join the “Welcome Home Feast” 🏡, presenting our group to new international students of the RWTH. We would like to thank you all for coming to talk to us, and letting us tell you about our passion in the field of neurotechnology. 😄 We hope the event would be a good start for your active student life in a new university, and probably also a new country.

🎉 Meet us at “Welcome Home Feast” this Friday! 🎉
On this coming Friday of 23 September 2022, is going to organize a “Welcome Home Feast” as a part of the Welcome Week WS22/23. The NeuroTX team, alongside other student associations, is going to present to new international students the variety of activities you could engage in at the RWTH.
The event starts at 6 pm on the 6th floor of the Super C building. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to come and talk with our friendly team members! 😄

Last Friday, we commemorated NeuroTX's second birthday. What was once a small crew has grown into a large family that is always changing and progressing. 💪🔥
With our spirits in sync, we persevered despite all obstacles, including a pandemic, multiple technological setbacks, and financial challenges. Now that we are more experienced, we know how to handle large teams, projects, budgets, social media, marketing, networking, fundraising, and have a lot of fun while doing it!
We began with Xavier, the brain-controlled wheelchair👨‍🦼, and have since added three more ventures. We would like to dedicate this special post to the whole NeuroTX team and alumni, without whom we would not have progressed as far as we have. This year will be full of surprises for you! 🧠🌅
