BEIJING TREND : Timeline Tianjin – fired up and ready for business
On the 18th October 2018, just over 20 years since the business was established, was a very special day for the Trend family. At the newly constructed factory in Tianjin, we lit the first tunnel kiln in a ceremony that marked an important and exciting step forward for the company’s kiln furniture manufacturing capabilities.
Despite some enforced downtime, the Tianjin plant – now going under the full name Tianjin Trend Thermal Materials – has nevertheless been built and equipped to a very tight schedule, thanks to the dedication of all involved. Once full production is underway in Q1 2019, Trend’s capacity will be substantially boosted and service to the company’s loyal customer base will be further enhanced, especially as time goes on.
“This is a very proud day for everyone associated with Trend,” said founding executive and managing director, Guo Haizhu. “I said earlier this year that moving forward we were all firmly committed to embracing new industry applications and development trends and to supplying progressive solutions for the global kiln furniture market. Our investment in Tianjin will further help to increase our total annual capacity to over 32,000MT and will enable us to reduce lead times and further improve product quality.
“The lighting of the first tunnel kiln today has boosted everyone’s spirits and is a very special moment for Trend. We are fired up and ready to hit new heights in the next 20 years – our vision for success and collaboration is undimmed, our ambition as strong as ever.”
