Visit by the District Administrator and WFG am Mittelrhein to Masa

On September 19, 2026, we were pleased to welcome Marko Boos, District Administrator of the Mayen-Koblenz district, and Henning Schröder, Managing Director of WFG am Mittelrhein, to our company.
During a tour of our Andernach facility followed by a discussion, our managing directors there—Frank Reschke and Volker Zurheide—presented the Masa Group and outlined the current challenges facing our international business. Topics included the impact of the war in Ukraine, uncertainties in global markets, customs policy, geopolitical developments, and the increasing bureaucratic requirements for companies.
The visit provided an opportunity for an open exchange about the situation facing a globally active mechanical engineering company and the business environment in Germany.
We would like to thank Marco Boos and Henning Schröder for their visit and their interest in our company.

Besuch des Landrats und der WFG am Mittelrhein bei Masa

Am 19.09.2026 durften wir den Landrat des Landkreises Mayen-Koblenz, Marko Boos und Henning Schröder, den Geschäftsführer der WFG am Mittelrhein in unserem Unternehmen willkommen heißen.
Bei einem Rundgang und einem anschließenden Gespräch stellten unsere Geschäftsführer am Standort Andernach, Frank Reschke und Volker Zurheide, die Masa Group sowie die aktuellen Herausforderungen in unserem internationalen Geschäft vor. Themen waren unter anderem die Auswirkungen des Ukraine-Krieges, Unsicherheiten auf den Weltmärkten, Zollpolitik, geopolitische Entwicklungen und die zunehmenden bürokratischen Anforderungen für Unternehmen.
Der Besuch bot die Gelegenheit für einen offenen Austausch über die Situation eines weltweit agierenden Maschinenbauunternehmens und die Rahmenbedingungen am Wirtschaftsstandort Deutschland.

Once separated, the green products are placed on hardening cars and moved into a buffered waiting area before entering the autoclaves. Here, logistics and timing must align: the plant’s cycle time, autoclave capacity, and product flow are synchronized to prevent bottlenecks.

This waiting zone acts as the heartbeat of production flow, ensuring that green products enter the autoclave at exactly the right time and temperature consistency.

𝗛𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝘃𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻.
In vibration-based compaction, the decisive factor is not vibration itself, but how uniformly and harmonically it is distributed across the vibration table.

A harmonic vibration behaviour ensures uniform filling of the mold, consistent material distribution and reproducible compaction across all areas. Even minor deviations from this condition can lead to product defects, dimensional inaccuracies or increased wear.

Such deviations are typically caused by mechanical influences within the system, for example ageing rubber buffers, wear of the vibration table or irregularities in the vibration behaviour itself.
These effects are often not directly visible during the process and only become apparent in the final product.

𝗩𝗶𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗹𝘆𝘀𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗰𝗸 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻

At the SLG Plant Managers’ Conference 2026, Markus Feix presented the fundamentals of vibration theory and its application in block & paver making machines. These insights are now published in BFT International.

Compaction in concrete production is determined by the interaction of multiple influencing factors. These include e.g. the vibration of the table, the load from the upper mold section and the pre‑tension of the system, as well as parameters such as raw materials, mixture consistency and the mold filling process.

Because of this complexity, deviations in the compaction result are often difficult to assign to a single cause. A holistic understanding of the system behaviour is required.

In this context, vibration analysis provides a basis for evaluating the system. By analysing the vibration behaviour of the table, irregularities can be identified and the condition of the machine can be assessed.

The Masa Amplitude Monitoring supports this approach by measuring vibration amplitudes on the empty vibration table and making them available for evaluation.
