IDCsmart Retrofit – Future-Proof Colour Control for the M600

Increasing demands for colour quality and production reliability have prompted our customer to modernize its proven M600 printing press in a targeted manner.

As part of a press relocation, the M600 was equipped with the InlineDensity Control smart (IDCsmart) system from manroland Goss - supplemented by new ink fountain modules and a modern Omnicolour control console.

The result: automated, high-precision colour control that sustainably improves print quality, process stability, and efficiency.

Rotated 180 degrees – without leaving a single millimetre to chance.

Every machine relocation presents its own challenges. But when a 72-page LITHOMAN printing press not only has to be moved but also adapted to the conditions of a new site, experience, precision and teamwork are essential.

Together with Sattler Media GmbH, we have successfully achieved precisely that: the folding unit, including the reel changer, was rotated by 180 degrees, state-of-the-art control systems were integrated, and the press was seamlessly incorporated into the existing production line.

The result? Increased capacity, higher productivity and another milestone in a long-standing partnership.

Dieses Mal fand unsere Jugend- und Auszubildendenversammlung mit einem besonderen Highlight statt: einer Fishbowl-Diskussion gemeinsam mit unseren Geschäftsführern von manroland Goss web systems GmbH, manroland web produktionsgesellschaft mbH und dem Industriepark Augsburg GmbH.

In einer offenen Gesprächsrunde hatten unsere Auszubildenden die Möglichkeit, ihre Fragen – beispielsweise zur Zukunft nach der Ausbildung oder zum Einsatz von KI im Unternehmen – direkt an die Geschäftsleitung zu richten, Gedanken auszutauschen und Themen anzusprechen, die ihnen wichtig sind.

Es war ein spannender, ehrlicher und wertschätzender Austausch, der gezeigt hat, wie wichtig der direkte Dialog und gegenseitiges Zuhören sind. Vielen Dank an alle, die mit ihren Fragen, Ideen und Beiträgen diese Runde so lebendig gemacht haben – und natürlich an unsere Geschäftsführer für ihre Offenheit und den konstruktiven Austausch.

Three inspiring days at are behind us – and what a great experience it has been.

It was a pleasure to host an inspiring packaging seminar in Munich this week for a delegation of Korean packaging industry leaders visiting Europe during this year’s in Düsseldorf.

The event was organized by , Korea’s leading packaging platform, represented by CEO & Chairman Mr. Lee Han-Young, and supported by our valued local partner AllesInternational LTD, represented by Mr. Se Jun Park.

Together, Karin Enderle and Wolfgang Hiesinger shared insights into:

• Key packaging trends shaping the European market
• The regulatory framework and implications of the PPWR
