Truck unloading is one of those processes that rarely gets attention.
But on the ground, it's physically demanding, repetitive and hard to staff reliably.

At States Logistics Services, Inc., this step used to happen manually inside hot, confined trailers. Not just a throughput issue, but a real strain on the people doing it every day.
So they approached it differently.

With a mobile setup combining a KR IONTEC and Contoro Robotics' AdaptAI software, trailer unloading becomes a dynamic process. The system enters each trailer, maps the situation in real time and adapts every single pick, even with mixed, shifting loads.

Since enabling full automation, working conditions have improved significantly, AI learning drives continuous improvement pick by pick and throughput jumped from 2–3 trailers per shift to as many as 4–5.
