It is with great sadness that we share the news that our long-time colleague Larry Italia has passed away.

Larry, who had only recently retired, was part of the d&b family since 2018. As President and CEO for d&b Americas until his retirement at the end of 2025, he played an important role in shaping and advancing our business across North America. Through his dedication, experience, and personality, he supported and inspired many colleagues across d&b as well as partners and customers throughout the industry.

Our thoughts are with his wife and family, his friends, our colleagues in the Americas, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

We will remember and miss Larry as a valued colleague and friend.

What a backdrop for a festival.

At this year's Zootown Festival in Missoula, Montana, Brown Note Productions, Inc deployed a d&b audiotechnik system on the festival's main Trailhead Stage, featuring GSL mains, SL-SUBs and KSL delay arrays to deliver consistent coverage across the audience area.

System design was led by Matt Brown, with deployment and tuning by Hayes Laporte and support from Ryon Moncrief, Blaise Howard and Austin Chenevert.

Ronnie Scott's continues its trust in d&b 🙏

The legendary Soho jazz club has upgraded its iconic main room after 28 years, replacing its long-serving d&b Q-Series system with Y10P mains and E3 fills, while the new Upstairs at Ronnie's venue has also chosen a d&b Y-Series solution.

The goal? Preserve the acoustic warmth and quality that has defined Ronnie Scott's for decades, while bringing the venue's infrastructure up to date.

At Beijing's iconic Bird's Nest, Silence Wang's AGE OF ROMANCE World Tour is showcasing d&b Soundscape on its biggest stadium stage yet.

The 10-show residency marks the largest deployment of d&b Soundscape with SL-Series in a stadium environment, bringing immersive spatial audio to near 60,000 audience members each night.

A landmark production for both the artist and the evolution of large-scale immersive sound.
