We challenge YOU to participate in The Mars Innovation Challenge!

This is a solo or team-based challenge open to all students all over the world in K-12, ages 5-18!

Register by submitting your entry and solve a real-world problem faced by future explorers to Mars and present an innovation to help problem solve for humans surviving, living, and thriving on Mars.

All eligible teams will receive an Completion Certificate and have their presentations shared on our social media platforms and will be invited to attend the 2023 Human to Mars Submit!

The overall (1st place) winner (individual/team) of the Mars Innovation Challenge will receive a cash award of $2400* and an invitation* for the student/team and one chaperone to present their winningMars Innovation Challenge Solution in person at the 2023 Humans to Mars Summit!

Outer space is undergoing a profound transformation brought about by a changing geopolitical context, the technological revolution and threats hitherto unknown to mankind. In this scenario, new actors (start-ups) are appearing alongside the traditional ones (states).

Roles have evolved, space is beginning to be commercialised and private activity is on the rise. Faced with new circumstances and new challenges, space needs a new governance model, which is exactly what we are going to address in this episode, without losing sight of the need to approach this whole process on the basis of ethics and sustainability.

Join us and learn how you can protect Earth from city-killer asteroids❗️ We know that millions of objects
of various sizes orbit the Sun, many of which are a threat to our delicate Earth Habitat but also a threat to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.

In this online- Asteroid Day celebration, we will present our annual
2022 report and lessons learned from the author's participation in the Planetary Defense (PD) tracks at the National Space Society ISDC Conference in Virginia – USA.

We'll also discuss how the current planetary Defense (PD) efforts aim to protect our existing home, Earth, and how the lessons learned can help us preserve our "future" home in Outer Space. To have a successful human presence on the Moon, Mars and beyond, we must be prepared to protect our assets, infrastructures, and more from asteroids and other celestial hazards simultaneously.

Why❓

Because we know that If a celestial body of about 460
feet (140 meters) in diameter crashed into Earth. It could destroy an entire city and cause extreme regional devastation. A larger object of about 0.6 miles (1 km) or more hit us could have global
effects and even cause mass extinctions.
