Our ESOS 800-AI optical sorting machine was in operation at our partner FAUPIN during the harvest in Burgundy!🍇 We took the opportunity to give you further insights into how the machine works. So make sure to check out the videos in particular!

Our team was on site to assist with the training and help optimise processes.

When one 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘭 EUROPRESS is not enough... 🍇 An older EUROPRESS model with cooling jacket option was already installed at this winery. It has now been complemented by another EUROPRESS grape press equipped with a cooling jacket!
You can see the evolution of our machines over the years in bothour logo and machine design. But one thing has remained unchanged: our commitment to quality and innovation!

August: The month when things have to move fast! Shortly before the harvest started, we delivered a few more presses.

📷2: The Besondere Bio-Weine aus der Pfalz winery was equipped with two EUROPRESS EP2-100 grape presses.

🚛 Delivery of our largest EUROPRESS!

After completing our EUROPRESS EP2-320, our tank press was ready to hit the road!
Loading the press onto our Scharfenberger truck required a high level of coordination and teamwork. Then came the challenging journey through narrow roads and villages, requiring plenty of skill behind the wheel.
When we arrived at the Heinrich Vollmer winery, the crane and our plant construction team were already waiting. And then the EUROPRESS went sky-high!
Under a bright blue sky, the 32,000-liter press was lifted through the air before being lowered one floor down to its new location.
The EP2-320 will complement an existing system that we installed at Heinrich Vollmer winery back in 2016. We are therefore particularly pleased to have the opportunity to realize another project together.

🚀 Literally a big project!

Over the past few weeks, our team has completed a very special project: an EUROPRESS EP2-320 has been designed, manufactured, and completed. It's a tankpress with an impressive capacity of 32,000 liters.🍇

The EP2-320 is the largest model in our range of EUROPRESS tank presses. This specific EP2-320 grapepress features the following equipment:

🔹 Remote Control option for easy and convenient operation
🔹 Pneumatically movable and sealed doors for reliable and precise processing
🔹 Suspended juice tray with Level Control option
🔹 Easy Clean Channels & Air Pulse option for effective and easy cleaning of the juice channels
🔹 Pomace discharge screw underneath the press for fast and clean emptying

A project of this size requires precise planning, engineering, and manufacturing and, above all, a strong team. 💪

Plant Engineering Insight #6

In the final part of our plant engineering series, we’re introducing the slope system.

As a general principle, we take gravity into account in all our systems to enable the most gentle grape processing possible. With our slope system technology, gravity and the processing path of the grapes define the layout of the entire system.
This is especially relevant in buildings located on slopes. Here, grapes can be processed across multiple levels – from reception to the destemmer to the press – without any pumping required. This technology therefore covers all capacity ranges.
