Some batching plants fight winter and summer like they are two different businesses. One season is about heating, the next is about cooling, and the “in-between” months become a constant reset of equipment, settings, and workflows.

That is exactly where an all-season system earns its place.
KTI CombiMaster brings heating and cooling into one compact unit, delivering conditioned water and air so concrete temperature control stays stable across the year.
Heating and cooling share the same periphery, which means only one water pipe and one air pipe need to be connected to the batching plant, keeping integration clean and reducing complexity on site.

In winter, it heats water (up to 85°C) and provides hot air for silo heating, and in summer it actively cools both water and air, including cold air for aggregate cooling rather than relying only on ambient air.
The result is a plant that can keep production consistent through changing seasons without constantly changing the process.

KTI at Ghalioun: Supporting the Future of Sustainable Aquaculture

We are honored to have been invited by the National Company for Fisheries and Aquaculture (NCFA), Egypt, under the leadership of Major General Islam Atiya, to visit the Ghalioun Fish Farm Project — one of the largest and most advanced aquaculture facilities in the Middle East and Africa.

This invitation reflects the strong trust placed in KTI-Plersch’s engineering expertise to support the evaluation and further development of the cooling systems essential for fish and shrimp production across all life stages — from hatcheries and larval rearing to processing and export preparation.

During the visit, we witnessed a truly monumental project — not only in its scale, but in its deeper environmental and human significance. The Ghalioun Project represents a clear example of Egypt’s forward-looking vision in sustainable food production, environmental responsibility, and long-term economic development.

Efficient and reliable cooling systems play a critical role in ensuring optimal biological conditions, improving survival rates, preserving product quality, and supporting the development of a fully integrated cold chain — especially important for Egypt’s strategic goal of exporting fish and shrimp to international markets.

We are proud to contribute to this national initiative and to support NCFA in strengthening and optimizing their cooling infrastructure. This cooperation marks the beginning of a broader partnership, extending beyond Egypt to support NCFA’s future expansion projects across Africa.
