Different material properties, compositions and process conditions require flexible approaches and solutions tailored to the individual application.

A topic worth discussing – and that is exactly what Dr. Luigi Di Matteo will do at this year’s Global CemFuels Conference in Geneva.

Our workshop is currently manufacturing ODM - Discharge Agitators RotoEX for a major alternative fuels project.

The machines have been designed to handle demanding bulk materials, where bridge formation and stagnant material zones can affect the discharge process. By activating the complete silo cross-section, the ODM - RotoEX supports a uniform, continuous material flow and reliable downstream operation.

From engineering and manufacturing to assembly, every system is tailored to its application.

Ein Stück Italien mitten in Beckum 🤌

Die Veranstaltung „Dolce Vita“ bringt in diesem Jahr italienisches Flair, Musik und Genuss in unsere Innenstadt – und schafft einen schönen Anlass, gemeinsam Zeit zu verbringen.

Die Geschichte unseres Unternehmens begann mit Orlando Di Matteo, der aus Italien nach Deutschland kam und in Beckum den Grundstein für das heutige Familienunternehmen legte. Auch viele Jahrzehnte später ist die Verbindung zu Italien nach wie vor ein Teil von DI MATTEO.

Genau diese Verbindung zwischen italienischen Wurzeln und dem Standort Beckum macht „Dolce Vita“ für uns zu einer besonderen Veranstaltung. Sie verbindet italienische Kultur mit dem Ort, an dem sich unsere Unternehmensgeschichte über Generationen entwickelt hat.

As part of our internal summer barbecue, the football darts game provided plenty of fun alongside good food, sunshine and many enjoyable conversations.

Some of today's environmental solutions started out as disposal problems.

On World Environment Day, it is worth remembering how much industrial thinking has changed over the past decades.

In 1984, DI MATTEO realised its first waste processing plant — long before alternative fuels became an established part of industrial production.

Materials, processes and environmental requirements have evolved significantly since then. Every new application brought its own challenges for storage, conveying, dosing and process integration.

Accompanying this development has continuously expanded our understanding of how these materials behave in real plant operation — and what it takes to handle them reliably over the long term.

It is remarkable to see how materials once considered a challenge became valuable resources for modern industry.

𝟐.𝟐𝟑𝟔 𝐊𝐢𝐥𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐭𝐞𝐫.

So viele Kilometer haben unsere Mitarbeitenden beim diesjährigen Stadtradeln für das Team DI MATTEO gesammelt.
Dabei ging es für uns nicht darum, möglichst viele Teams hinter uns zu lassen.

Sondern darum, gemeinsam mitzumachen.
Ob auf dem Weg zur Arbeit, in der Freizeit oder bei sportlichen Touren am Wochenende – 17 Kolleginnen und Kollegen haben insgesamt 2.236 Kilometer mit dem Fahrrad zurückgelegt.

Ein schönes Beispiel dafür, dass Bewegung, Teamgeist und Nachhaltigkeit oft ganz unkompliziert im Alltag beginnen.

Vielen Dank an alle, die mitgeradelt sind.
Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Jahr. 🚲

But honestly, that is not something that only shows in an organisational chart.

It shows in everyday work.

In short decision-making paths.
In direct conversations.
And in the fact that many decisions are still made where the plants, projects and operational challenges are truly understood.

It also shows in the people who have shaped this company over many years — in some cases over generations.

Especially in mechanical and plant engineering, stable solutions rarely emerge from a desk alone. They grow through experience, practical exchange and people who understand how plants operate in everyday life.

Maybe that is one of the reasons why long-term collaboration has never been just a phrase for us.
