HIRING:
Sales & Commercial Head / Director – Upstream Oil & Gas
Location: Dubai
We are seeking a Sales & Commercial Head / Director with deep expertise in upstream oil & gas to lead the Sales & Commercial department, drive revenue growth, and manage key commercial operations in the GCC & Iraq markets.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Sales & Commercial team to achieve business targets
Develop and execute strategies for revenue and margin improvement
Manage workflows, cost models, and cross-departmental processes
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and customers
Oversee opportunity processes (RFTs, ITTs, RFPs, EOIs) and manage contractual risks
Coach the team and ensure proper contract handovers
Implement lessons learned from lost opportunities
Skills & Competencies:
Strong leadership, team management, and negotiation skills
Deep knowledge of upstream oil & gas contracts and markets in GCC & Iraq
Organized, methodical, and detail-oriented
Excellent written and spoken English; local language skills as needed
High personal integrity
Qualifications & Experience:
Master’s (Engineering / Supply Chain) OR bachelor’s in engineering with MBA
Minimum 15 years in sales, business development, or contract management in upstream oil & gas
Training:
Advanced negotiation skills
Commercial conditions for technical departments
Sales & tender process standards
HSE training
