Rumors are true — and yes, another acquisition happened ;-)

Two strong players are coming together: Blackcam and Electric Friends are now forming a strategic alliance under common ownership.

All projects, client relationships, and partnerships will continue seamlessly, exactly as before.

Both companies will keep operating from their established bases in Bergen, Norway, and Berlin, Germany — with the same teams that have built their success.

Together, we will further expand our international presence and continue to push innovation in camera robotics and broadcast technology.

Blackcam began developing remote controlled camera systems in 2010, achieving the breakthrough by selling the first two systems to rock band Incubus for their world tour, marking the start of Blackcam's journey in professional live event cinematography.

We were a part of the Vienna Philharmonic / Wiener Philharmoniker 's Sommernachtskonzert 2025 at the Schloss Schönbrunn

Our two B60 Blackcam Systems were on site, helping capture the open-air concert directed by Henning Kasten.
