La pandemia Covid-19 fornisce un’opportunità unica per il rilancio delle tecnologie digitali nel mondo della sanita'.

Sono molti gli strumenti digitali che sono stati sviluppati a supporto della gestione dei pazienti Covid-19. L’Alta Scuola di Economia e Management dei Sistemi Sanitari (ALTEMS) dell’Universita Cattolica ne ha contati 108 impiegati dalle Aziende Sanitarie italiane a partire dal 1 marzo 2020, in particolare,
- 38 sono dedicati alla gestione dei pazienti Covid-19
- 70 sono dedicati per gestire da remoto patologie croniche come il diabete, le patologie cardiovascolari, oncologiche, dermatologiche, neurologiche e psicologiche.
