Over the past two weeks, the team at FaSTTUBe has been making strong progress across all departments as rollout and testing preparations ramp up.
Operations focused on everything rollout-related, from event planning and graphic design to teaser video editing and finalizing the business plan. At the same time, the Cost Report team has been hustling to finalize and upload all required documents ahead of next week’s deadline.
Driverless continued preparing the FT26 for its first autonomous tests, completing and testing the RES wiring, advancing the Emergency Brake System, and finalizing LiDAR and camera calibration.
Electronics carried out successful first tests, optimized the control unit and BMS software, and integrated additional sensors into the wiring harness.
Suspension completed everything needed for driving the vehicle, including wheel alignment and preflight checks, and successfully drove the car during the recent testing day. The gearbox is now being broken in while preparations for full-power testing continue, with both cooling systems assembled for upcoming tests.
The H2 department mated the engine and gearbox, completed the chassis, and received the fuel tank — another big step forward for the powertrain.
Meanwhile, Aero and the workshop are focused on rollout preparations, assembling and finalizing components while receiving key manufacturing parts needed to complete the aero package. 🏎️
