Team rooftop Team rooftop — official ambassador of UdK Berlin & TU Berlin in the Solar Decathlon 2014 en France.

The Solar Decathlon is a worldwide architecture- and engineering competition for institutions of higher education, aiming to communicate progress in the field of sustainable building technologies and renewable energies. It is a unique opportunity to design, plan and build an individual housing solution for the problems posed by our world’s ecological development. For the 2014 edition, 20 teams from all over the world have been chosen to build their solar house in the château's garden in Versailles. In June/July 2014 a small village – the solar village – will arise and the jury will crown the winning team, the new Sun King.
