Hey all, I'm not affiliated with FDS, although I have had many conversations with them over the years... but for those still interested in the Q400, they have completed their Q400 cockpits. As someone who has done designs for the Q400, I can say that theirs looks very professional. Have a look!

Hey all! Well, it's a New Year already, and time is flying. We are still in lockdown here in Germany, but, I wanted to get a show of hands... Who would be interested in seeing Fly-A-Dash come back to life? I have an opportunity to start over fresh, with new ideas and machines, with new software to design... I haven't said yes, yet, but there is a chance. I would of course produce panels and plug and play modules to be used with the MJC software, as I have been in contact with them to make sure it can be done.

So, send me a message, comment on this post, let me know if you're interested in Q400 cockpits and parts.

Hey all, just a reminder, this page is only staying open to show what is possible. I am no longer offering parts, or measurements. The airport that I worked at, Berlin-Tegel, has closed forever.

Right now I am only working on drawings. I do still plan on doing a Q400 drawing one of these weeks.

Greetings all, I know that it's been a long time since I've posted... a couple of years. I hope that you all are doing well and staying healthy this year. Side note: I may do a Q400 drawing or 2 over the next few months. I'll post the pictures when I do.

Hey all,
As you know, I have stopped producing panels for the Q400. It's still a decision that I regret having to do. I still have a little bit of stock and would like to sell it to someone that is passionate about the Q400. Please see the picture for what's involved. I also have available an Opencockpits Mastercard and USB expansion, along with 3 10.4" monitors and their interface control boards. The monitors are untested, as they are still in the packaging.
I am asking 1350€ for everything. I've taken quite a bit off, as it's the last of the stock. Most switches are included with the overhead panel set, and I had built a basic frame to hold each section. All items are sold as is, with no returns... obviously... as I'm getting out of the Q400. I already have it all boxed up, and can have it in the mail within 24 hours of payment.

To all my Fans, and Fans of the Q400: It's about time that I come clean on the reason I haven't posted anything in quite a long time.
My last true sale was back in February. I was working with a company to produce the panels with my designs, but they could not always get me the panels in a decent time frame. That issue made it tough on the customers who had to wait for their packages.
I know that a lot of you would love to have a Plug-and-Play cockpit, however, until Majestic releases their Training version (which I believe was supposed to be done at the beginning of this year), P&P is not possible. There are a few work-arounds using LINDA - a software that allows a joystick interface to control certain aspects of the Q400 - but the Korry switches (all 44 of them) cannot be controlled. This created a major setback in the creation of the modules.
As my finances took a hit, and my free time for the Q400 dwindled, I slowly came to the realization that my efforts to build up a Home Cockpit business for the Q400 by myself were not going to happen.
It's a sad end to my journey, and one that even my wife didn't want to see. I have already sold the rest of my stock and will be selling the couple machines that I have.

Sorry for the low quality, but here are some k***s I'm working on for the pedestal. These are 3D printed and designed by me. The paint on the left is only to test the backlighting, and was done quickly.
The black one is printed in a transparent white, painted black, to allow for backlighting. I also have a few for the overhead. I'll be working on the autopilot k***s/panel after the holidays. If I can get it done right and realistic, it'll be the first plug and play module.

This will be my last post of the year, as I have a lot going on with work and family over the next week. I hope that you all have great Holiday parties! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

What have we here? Dash Monitors. 2 sold already. I will be taking orders for these, however.... since I have to get them "in stock", I will only order them when I have at least 20 monitors sold.

The monitors have a VGA connector. Wires are not included.
