Choosing the wrong material for a meter-scale build is an expensive mistake. You aren’t just losing filament, you’re losing days of production time.

Which material belongs on your shop floor?

✅ Choose ABS if your part needs to survive high heat (~110°C) or requires a “smooth-as-injection-molding” finish.
✅ Choose PETG if you need high impact resistance, chemical stability, and a material that prints reliably every time without warping.

Don’t wait until a part fails on the line to find out it was the wrong choice. Get the full technical breakdown on our blog.

WE ARE LIVE: Sustainable Manufacturing with Industrial 3D Printing [Live-Webinar]

MAY 19, 2026
11:00 EST / 17:00 CEST

No manufacturing process is free from environmental impact, and climate change is no joke. Energy is burned right from procuring materials to moving the finished products through carbon-heavy supply chains.

That’s why more organizations are taking a hard look at their production methods and logistics, looking for ways to cut waste, use eco-friendly materials, reduce energy use, and minimize CO₂ emissions.

In this webinar with our colleagues Silas Dortmann and Michał Sendor, you will learn how industrial 3D printing can support sustainable manufacturing with on-demand production, reduced logistics and waste, light weighting, recycled materials, and more.

We will highlight use cases where 3D printing enabled more sustainable solutions, often saving time and money in the process.

This webinar will cover:
✅ Eco-friendly materials
✅ Lightweighting with 3D printed parts
✅ Print quality and carbon footprint
✅ Spare parts and digital libraries
✅ Reducing warehousing and logistics

Time for the next step in 3D printing: stop gluing together small printed parts 💥

Large-format 3D printing doesn’t have to be complicated. You just need the right machine.

Print up to 1005x1005x1005 mm large parts. A lot of people think moving from desktop printers to industrial large-format systems is just about scaling up. That’s where they’re wrong. They miss the real challenges - and the real upside.

With bigger build volumes come entirely new possibilities: less assembly, less wasted time, and larger, fully functional parts in a single print.

Large-scale printers that produce complete parts—not puzzle pieces.
No more gluing. No more snapping things together 😉😅

That said, there are real hurdles. Material requirements, process integration, and the right print strategy all make or break your success.

In our guide, you’ll learn:
✅ How to get started with large-format 3D printing
✅ Why size alone isn’t enough—and what actually matters
✅ Which industries are already making the shift
✅ How companies like Walter Automobiltechnik GmbH are using this transition to their advantage

👉 We put together a practical guide covering the key things you need to know about large-format 3D printing.

👉 Comment “GUIDE” and we’ll send it your way.

If you want to take the next step in 3D printing, don’t just go bigger - print smarter.

From File to Field – a few years ago, hardly anyone in the military was actively using a 3D printer 🪖

Today, at the AM Village in Albacete, it’s clear how fast that’s changing. Additive manufacturing is out of the testing phase and becoming a real capability on the ground. Parts are produced exactly where they’re needed - under pressure, in the field, without detours through long supply chains.

What stands out this year: the conversations are concrete.

Especially around large-format 3D printing. It’s no longer about small components but functional, large-scale applications that make a real impact. Right now, we’re discussing specific projects - what makes sense to produce on site, which parts can be scaled, and where size really matters.

The interest is real. And the commitment is tangible.

At the same time, it’s clear: technology alone isn’t enough. Expertise is the real differentiator. Those who understand the systems win speed and flexibility.

Over 800 experts are here working on exactly that - hands-on, practical, collaborative.

The question isn’t if anymore.
It’s how fast we can deliver.
On-Demand, Onsite, One-to-One-Size

We share a clear belief: a strong, capable Europe - depend on modern, ready forces. Additive manufacturing is one piece of that puzzle.

It was great that Spanish King Felipe VI attended the event and got a firsthand look at the latest additive technologies.

Four weeks. That's how long it takes to build a NASCAR Cup Series car from raw components to race-ready.

LEGACY MOTOR CLUB uses two BigRep STUDIO printers to keep that timeline tight. The team prints fixtures that ensure each car is built to identical specs, plus functional parts like this gear cooler plenum (printed in HI-TEMP or PRO HT depending on thermal requirements).

Steven Sander's crew iterated this component five times in one season. With outsourced parts taking two weeks to arrive, that pace would be impossible.
