New housing variant for our large format digital X-ray detector! The optional aluminum housing is more compact than the polyamide version, features adjustable brackets for mounting, and is equipped with a VESA mount.

With an active area of 351 x 427 mm, the D-DR 3643 NDT is perfectly suited for profile radiography and large test objects. At a pixel pitch of 99 µm, it achieves a basic spatial resolution (SRb) of 100 µm with the fine scintillator, and together with its high contrast, delivers outstanding image quality for radiographic testing.

The D-DR 3643 NDT is IP67 rated, lightweight (7.5 kg) and features a hot-swap function that allows the battery to be changed during operation, making it easy to use in the field. Equipped with internal shielding for use up to 450 kV, the detector can be used for a wide range of applications with X-ray and gamma sources, especially in the oil & gas sector.

The image history of D-Tect X allows you to track all actions applied to the X-ray image and to define presets with any number of actions. These presets can then be applied to single images or even to multiple images simultaneously. This allows recurring inspections to be simplified and standardized.

The correct calibration of a digital detector array (DDA) is essential to ensure a homogeneous image. D-Tect X enables offset and multi-gain calibration, as well as bad pixel calibration with report generation according to ASTM E2597.

Multiple gain calibrations at various radiation doses can be applied during acquisition to achieve the best image quality possible. In aerospace applications, a bad pixel report is a critical component of the detector quality control required for Nadcap accreditation.

In D-Tect X, you can choose whether and what type of bad pixels should be displayed in the image.

With D-Tect X, you can easily measure the wall thickness of a pipe by simply clicking on the relevant positions – the tool does the rest. The automatic alignment function ensures that the measuring line is always correctly aligned with the pipe wall when moving the line or drawing it manually.

To calibrate the image, simply use a ball or the pipe diameter to set the reference value for the measurement. Finally, you can generate a report with just a few clicks.
