Today we are showing you these alfalfa bales, weighing approx. 500 kg, produced from a newly established field. This is a very fine, leafy product, as you can clearly see in the images.

We carried out quality checks using a NIR analyser, measuring both moisture and protein content. The results are excellent: over 20% protein and only 8% moisture.

The product shows outstanding stability, with a bright colour and excellent preservation of the leaf fraction, which are key factors to ensure high nutritional value.

As you can see, the final result is truly of exceptional quality.

Unfortunately, you can’t experience the aroma through the screen, but I can assure you it’s exceptional. This is a very leafy product, soft to the touch, not over-dried, which means it retains its natural quality and nutritional characteristics.

Take a look at the leaves: this is sixth-cut alfalfa harvested at the end of October 2025, with an impressive 26% protein content.

This is the result of a carefully controlled drying process. AgriCompact technology, known worldwide, makes it possible to produce premium-quality forage while preserving color, structure, nutritional value, and the natural characteristics of the product.

We’re talking about gentle drying at temperatures of around 40°C (104°F), without exceeding this level, in order to fully protect the quality of the forage.
