XU7AMO (Kambodscha🇰🇭) nimmt den regulären Funkbetrieb über GEO auf 📡〰️🛰️ -- Die Cambodian Amateur Radio Group (CAMRG) nimmt den regulären Satellitenbetrieb ihrer Clubstation XU7AMO am National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (NPIC) wieder auf. Nach der erfolgreichen Installation ihrer permanenten QO-100-Bodenstation wird die Station ab Mitte Mai 2026 wöchentlich über den geostationären -Satelliten QO-100 (Es’hail-2) aktiv sein.

XU7AMO (Cambodia🇰🇭) starts regular radio operation via GEO 📡〰️🛰️ -- The Cambodian Amateur Radio Group(CAMRG) is resuming regular satellite operation of its club station XU7AMO at the National Polytechnic Institute of Cambodia (NPIC). Following the successful installation of its permanent QO-100 ground station, the station will be active weekly via the geostationary satellite QO-100 (Es’hail-2) from mid-May 2026.

Update: RFA has submitted its application for the marine license for Test Flight 1 from . For the first time, the application also specifies a potential launch window, which will open NET (no earlier than) July 1, 2026.

This is a legally required step for planning, and a good sign of how far we’ve come - but it’s not a launch date just yet.

We applied for this window because we’re working hard to be ready - and we’re getting closer every day.

So: the application means we’re entering a new phase of preparation. Still, as with any first-ever launch, there are uncertainties, and the schedule may evolve.
