Café Tiergarten is furnished with chairs by Egon Eiermann, tables by Alvar Aalto and the Corbusier table LC6, all of whom also built in Berlin’s Hansaviertel. The “Ulmer Hocker“, designed by Max Bill, is featured, while the custom-made benches by Studio Roh follow the principle of the classic design. Where the original fittings from the 1950s could not be preserved, FSB 1291 and FSB 1292 by Foster + Partners continue the interplay of historic and contemporary design.

Stühle von Egon Eiermann, Tische von Alvar Aalto sowie Corbusier's Tisch LC6 zieren das Café Tiergarten. Alle drei Architekten haben im Berliner Hansaviertel gebaut. Auch der von Max Bill entworfene Ulmer Hocker kommt vor – die eigens angefertigten Bänke von Studio Roh orientieren sich am Prinzip des Klassikers. Wo die originalen Beschläge aus den 1950er Jahren nicht erhalten werden konnten, führen FSB 1291 und FSB 1292 von Foster + Partners das Zusammenspiel aus historischem und zeitgenössischem Design fort.

Unlike ernst, ernst cave evolved more intuitively, using the resources at hand. Not every detail of the space is a result of design, and some things are yet to come – an openness that is also reflected in the natural and raw materials that shape the interior. Among them is FSB 1292 by Foster + Partners Industrial Design in Aluminum Pure. The unique surface pattern is created by the vibratory finishing process, develops patina, and complements the natural woods of the cave particularly well.

Im Gegensatz zum ernst entstand die ernst cave eher intuitiv und mit vorhandenen Ressourcen. Nicht jedes Detail des Raumes ist geplant, manches entsteht noch – eine Offenheit, die sich auch in den natürlichen und rohen Materialien des Interieurs widerspiegelt. Dazu gehört die Produktfamilie FSB 1292 von Foster + Partners Industrial Design in Aluminium Pure. Die individuelle Oberfläche entsteht durch den Prozess des Gleitschleifens, entwickelt eine Patina und bettet sich besonders gut in den Kontext der Naturhölzer der cave ein.

Timm Rautert portrayed Jasper Morrison in 1990, examining his then newly designed door handle FSB 1144. FSB has been producing the handle ever since – it’s become a favorite in the product range. Or as the FSB brochure from the 90s reads… „Morrison brings out the charisma of an object’s function, lends substance to simplicity“.

Der Drücker wurde seit den 1990er Jahren durchgängig produziert und ist eines der beliebtesten Designs im Sortiment. Oder wie die Broschüre aus den 1990er Jahren es formuliert… „Morrison betont die Aura des Gebrauchsgegenstandes, er lässt die Schlichtheit sprechen“.

The door k**b FSB 0844 adds a fresh dimension to design in its field. As Jasper Morrison was designing it, he must have looked up at the ceiling in his studio. Hanging there was a conventional light bulb. Jasper took this form so familiar to us all and transferred it to the door k**b. The outcome is a worthy alternative to the more usual round or flattened disc styles. The fixed version gives the hand plenty of scope to grip and pull, while the rotating k**b can be turned the requisite amount without unduly extending the hand.

Mit dem Türknopf FSB 0844 sind wir um einen Klassiker reicher geworden. Jasper Morrison muss beim Entwerfen an die Decke seines Studios geschaut haben. Dort hing eine traditionelle Glühlampe in Birnenform. Jasper übertrug die uns allen bekannte Form auf einen Türknopf und schuf damit eine griffige Alternative zu den gebräuchlichen kugelförmigen „Tennisbällen“ oder flachen „Diskusscheiben“. Als feststehender Knopf bietet er der Hand Greif- und Zugvolumen. Als Drehknopf lässt er sich ohne Verrenkung der Hand im notwendigen Winkelmaß bewegen.

Our door k**b FSB 0844 designed by Jasper Morrison is back! It is part of the product collection FSB 1144, which the acclaimed British designer conceived in the early 1990s, is available in all classic aluminum and stainless steel surfaces, and as a standard door k**b or a rotating k**b handle. It is particularly sought-after in aluminum, or as our old brochure puts it: „Jasper loves aluminum, best of all in its natural form.“

Der Türknopf FSB 0844 von Jasper Morrison ist zurück! Als Teil der Produktfamilie FSB 1144, die in den frühen 1990er Jahren von dem renommierten britischen Designer entworfen wurde, ist er in allen klassischen Aluminium und Edelstahl Oberflächen, sowie als standardmäßiger Türknopf oder als drehbarer Knopfdrücker erhältlich. Besonders begehrt ist er in Aluminium oder wie unsere alte Broschüre es formuliert: „Jasper liebt Aluminium. Am schönsten findet er dieses Material in seinem natürlichen silbernen Farbton.“

The JUNG Founder's Villa's pavilion emerges naturally from the sloping terrain. It is defined by clear architectural forms, exposed concrete walls, dark ceilings and floors, and continuous floor-to-ceiling glazing. The floor plan of the space known as the "Schalterhalle" is structured by three spatial cores. A tapered column reflects the distribution of structural loads at its upper and lower junctions. It supports the roof construction, whose architecture is reminiscent of Mies van der Rohe with its coffered elements in the exterior.

Der Neubau der JUNG Gründervilla entwickelt sich aus dem abfallenden Gelände. Der Pavillon ist geprägt durch seine klaren Formen, seine rohen Betonwände, die dunklen Decken- und Bodenflächen und seine umlaufenden, raumhohen Fensterfassaden. Der Grundriss der sogenannten „Schalterhalle“ wird durch drei raumbildende Kerne gegliedert. Die konische Stütze ist Abbild der Lastfelder am oberen und unteren Punkt, sie trägt wesentliche Teile der an Mies van der Rohe erinnernden, im Außenraum kassettierten Dachkonstruktion.

Set amid the rolling landscape of the north-western Sauerland region, the former residence of company founder Albrecht Jung, built in Schalksmühle in 1928, has been refurbished and extended. Since 2024, the JUNG Founder's Villa has served as a think tank and event venue. The ensemble was refurbished and redesigned by Nehse & Gerstein Architekten, and features architectural hardware in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier® by JUNG and FSB.

In der hügeligen Landschaft des nordwestlichen Sauerlandes, wurde der 1928 gebaute Wohnsitz des einstigen Firmengründers Albrecht Jung in Schalksmühle umgebaut und erweitert. Seit 2024 dient die JUNG Gründervilla als Think-Tank und Veranstaltungsgebäude. Saniert und umgebaut wurde das Ensemble von Nehse & Gerstein Architekten mit Produkten von JUNG und FSB in Les Couleurs® Le Corbusier®.
