Looking back at a good technical exchange on the way to GWI Essen 2026 🔥

Proud to share a glimpse of our contribution to this year’s “Aktionstag Brücken bauen” 🤝

Our entire PROTEGO® trainee team spent the day supporting the Braunschweiger Tafel in a very hands-on way: we refurbished a wooden shelter in the waiting area and added a coat of paint to make it more welcoming and weather-resistant for visitors 🌧️🎨

A big thank you to Petra Fricke from Braunschweiger Tafel, who led the project on site and guided us throughout the day. The Braunschweiger Tafel collects surplus but still consumable food and distributes it to people in need – a vital contribution against food waste and social inequality 🥖👏

In Germany, “Brücken bauen” (“building bridges”) connects non-profit organizations with companies from the regions Braunschweig, Gifhorn, Peine, Salzgitter, Wolfenbüttel and Wolfsburg to create meaningful corporate volunteering projects.

The initiative is based on four engagement pillars:

Celebrating a very special milestone at PROTEGO®: 25 years with Jennifer Ortel! 🎉

Jennifer started her journey with PROTEGO® in 2001 with an apprenticeship as an office communication assistant, after discovering PROTEGO® at a school job fair. Over the years, she has worked in Sales Assistance, Quality Assurance, and our Head Office/Reception – and finally returned to Sales Team Germany, where she now looks after the South-West Germany region.

Today, Jennifer supports customers with our PROTEGO® solutions, prepares quotations, and manages projects through to successful implementation. Building trusting, long-term customer relationships is essential to her, and with her expertise and dedication she supports PROTEGO®’s growth and helps customers make the best decisions for their applications. As part of Sales Team Germany, she is a key interface to our customers and contributes significantly to their satisfaction and to PROTEGO®’s success. 🚀🤝

Her colleagues describe her as someone “you hear before you see” – open, always laughing, enthusiastic, reliable, and a true team player who brings good vibes to everyday work and every company party.
