UB-SPACE

We are the Team UB-SPACE from Bremen and we participated in project cycle 09 of the REXUS/ BEXUS program! Our experiment launched on REXUS 21 in March 2017.

Image Processing for Determination of relative Satellite Motion. We are the Team UB-SPACE (University of Bremen - Image Processing for Determination of relative Satellite Motion) and our Experiment will fly on the REXUS 21/22 campaign in spring 2017. The REXUS programme allows university students to carry out scientific experiments on sounding rockets. These rockets reach an altitude of about 90km

. During the flight the experiments can be carried out in microgravity. Our Experiment will deliver series of images, showing an object similar to a moving uncooperative target satellite in a realistic environment, with associated measured data, which can be used for determination of the relative movement of the two objects.
