A new project officially underway.

We’re proud to announce that Lightspan has signed the contract to supply the Texlon® ETFE roof for XPAND Be-One in Puurs, Belgium.

With 572 m² of ETFE roofing, the system comprises 6 rectangular cushions with 4 ETFE layers, creating a lightweight barrel wall roof that complements the building’s innovative timber structure.

XPAND Be-One brings together architecture, sustainability and social responsibility — featuring a pure timber load-bearing structure, natural daylight, integrated planting and more than 1,000 solar modules.

We’re looking forward to bringing this project to life together with Beneens and architect SHARP, Hugo Prades.
