RYAN P (Rango x Santos P x Crownmax) comes from the renowned C line at Rainer Thönes’ farm. This cow family is one of the farm’s most significant – four generations preceding the bull are currently still active.

The bull is heterozygous polled and combines high milk yield with positive milk components (+1,211 kg milk; +0.25% fat; +0.16% protein). Furthermore, RYAN P impresses with outstanding all-round qualities: profitable progeny (RZ€ +2,553), high longevity and excellent daughter fertility. Particularly noteworthy are his excellent health scores (RZhealth 125), with strengths in hoof health and metabolic stability.

In terms of conformation, RYAN P transmits medium frame, with plenty of strength and wide rumps. The highly attached udder with longer teats underlines his functional genetic potential. Thanks to his very good suitability for robotic milking (118), RYAN P is also ideally suited to modern milking systems.

Together with our distribution partner GPlus from Italy and a group of 30 Italian dairy farmers, we visited our member RinderAllianz to present some of our best A.I. bulls – GLADIUS EX 92, GARETT EX 91, GLENN EX 92 and BENCH EX 91 – and to inspect daughters in state-of-the-art commercial dairy herds.

ROADHOUSE (Real Syn x Forino x Gladius) traces back to Snowbiz Sympatico Sofia, dam of Salvatore and a direct descendant of Glen Drummond Splendor. His dam Seagflor scored VG 85 and achieved a 100-day yield of 3,943 kg milk with 4.46% fat and 3.20% protein. The GLADIUS EX 92 granddam is a sister of GIROUD and PESSOA EX 90 and is in her second lactation. The great granddam is also still housed at the renowned Rörden GbR breeding farm on the island of Föhr.

With a total merit index of 160 points, ROADHOUSE himself ranks among the very top of the list. The bull passes on first-class health traits (RZhealth 129), with excellent hoof health. Over 2,200 kg of milk with 0.23% fat and neutral protein percentages result in RZM 150. ROADHOUSE stands out with low somatic cell count (136), high persistency (119) and high longevity (124). In terms of conformation, he displays sufficient body depth and strength. The udder shows optimal balance, ideal teat placement and good teat length, making him suitable for automatic milking systems (RZRobot 111).
