Out of the everyday routine and into team spirit: Our colleagues from our TENTE subsidiary in China spent four days together in Yuyao, south of Shanghai. 🇨🇳 The programme included sightseeing, hikes and exciting outdoor strategy games.

But the company outing was not just about beautiful views. It was above all about collaboration, communication, shared successes and lasting memories. A powerful experience that brought the TENTE China team even closer together.

Over 20 years of growth: Lauren Clow’s journey at TENTE

Lauren has been part of TENTE since 2005. She joined straight after college at just 16 years old as an Internal Sales Coordinator – today, as HR & Operations Manager at TENTE UK, she is responsible for areas including HR, Warehouse, Quality, Sustainability and Health & Safety.

What does she value most about her work? The variety. No two days are the same, and that is exactly what motivates Lauren: she organises, develops processes, supports change and helps her team to become better together.

International collaboration within the TENTE Group is also especially important to her. Over the years, Lauren has had the opportunity to work with many colleagues from different countries, develop her skills and contribute new ideas – from wellbeing measures to topics relating to sustainability and leadership.

Strengthening expertise together: Linea Experts Meeting 2026

At the end of April, 21 TENTE experts came together in La Barre, the home of TENTE Roulettes Polymères in France, for the Linea Experts Meeting 2026. Now in its tenth edition, the format once again provided space for exchange, practical knowledge and new ideas around the Linea castor product family.

With its polyamide housing, the versatile twin-wheel castor is designed for a wide range of requirements: from industrial applications and design-oriented furniture to healthcare.

In various workshops, participants deepened their technical and practical know-how, discussed requirements from different market segments and contributed valuable insights from the field. This allowed real customer needs to be discussed directly with the teams on site and translated into concrete measures.

A valuable meeting full of expertise, collaboration and team spirit.

Growing together: TENTE launches LEAD programme

Here we go! Over the next two years, ten high-potential employees from across the company will receive targeted support to further develop their strengths, prepare them for positions with more responsibility or strengthen them in their leadership roles at TENTE.

The participants, aged between their late 20s and late 40s, come from six countries, eight TENTE locations and a wide range of corporate functions, including Engineering, Purchasing, Finance and Sales.

Last week, the kick-off event took place with the first of five programme blocks: featuring presentations on leadership and international collaboration, personality workshops, teambuilding events and training on intercultural competence and collaboration.

We are looking forward to two exciting years full of development, exchange and new perspectives.

Girls’ Day at TENTE in Wermelskirchen

Five schoolgirls from the region gained an exciting insight into technical training at TENTE in Wermelskirchen.

Accompanied by a female trainee and a female colleague from the Turning department at TENTE, the day began with a tour of the production facility. Afterwards, the girls had the opportunity to get hands-on in a workshop: using conventional milling, they made their own photo holder – which they were, of course, able to take home with them.

By taking part in Girls’ Day, we want to inspire young talents to explore technical professions at an early stage, support career orientation free from stereotypes, and show the opportunities that training at TENTE can offer.

New facility at TENTE UK: More space, greater efficiency, stronger future

Congratulations! 🎉 Our TENTE subsidiary in Peterborough, United Kingdom, has officially opened its new building. Located next to the existing site, the new facility solves previous capacity constraints and brings warehouse and operations together in one place.

“For years, we were simply running out of space,” said Carl Garner, Managing Director of TENTE UK. “We tried to optimise what we had, but at some point, it just wasn’t enough.”

The new facility brings several important improvements:

👉🏻 Local businesses supported the construction, with UK-manufactured products used for interiors and warehouse requirements.
👉🏻 Solar panels, battery storage, heat pump technology, light and water sensors contribute to a more sustainable building.
👉🏻 A new loading bay, modern meeting and training spaces, a well-being area and a kitchen/canteen help improve daily workflows, customer experiences and team collaboration.

Shaping the future together

In mid-March, the 28th TENTE World Conference took place at the TENTE Campus in Wermelskirchen. 35 international Managing Directors and colleagues with Global Head functions came together to exchange ideas, share perspectives and further strengthen global collaboration.

A special moment was the joint appearance of the new TENTE International Leadership Team. As guest speaker, Marike Steinacker, reigning German champion in discus, shared inspiring insights into performance, resilience and team spirit – topics that play an important role not only in elite sport, but also in everyday business.

Today, TENTE is live at med.Logistica SPOTLIGHT 2026 with WeAssist at LKH University Hospital Graz – one of the leading specialist conferences for hospital logistics and process management in healthcare across the DACH region.

TENTE China welcomed executives and colleagues from across the APAC region, as well as from the company headquarters in Germany, to the APAC Conference in Suzhou 🇨🇳

At the heart of the conference were open exchange, strategic alignment and the shared goal of strengthening collaboration across borders.

Daniela Spear has been part of TENTE in Wermelskirchen since October 2025, ensuring that data, drawings and systems work seamlessly together in our Technical Product Support. As a Specialist in technical product design & master data maintenance, she combines technical expertise with a clear understanding of processes.

What sets her apart: her holistic perspective, shaped by her professional journey. Trained as a technical draughtswoman, followed by an advanced technical qualification in mechanical engineering, and with 14 years of experience in heavy-duty design, she brings extensive know-how to the company.

What does she particularly value about her work at TENTE?
