📢 STOE User Talk – Photoinduced linkage isomerism

This STOE User Talk shows how combining single-crystal XRD with in-situ optical spectroscopy enables a detailed understanding of photoswitching mechanisms in functional materials.

Using photoinduced linkage isomers as an example, we demonstrate how structure–property relationships can be derived under realistic experimental conditions.

📢 Upcoming Webinar – 29 January, 15:00 CET

In this STOE User Talk, Emmanuel Wenger and Dominik Schaniel from the Université de Lorraine will present a laboratory single-crystal XRD setup designed for static and time-resolved measurements under temperature, light irradiation, pressure, and electric fields, combined with in-situ optical spectroscopy.

Using photoinduced linkage isomers as an example, they show how this approach reveals structure–property relationships in functional materials.
