Decarbonization in the foundry industry: Challenges ahead, opportunities within reach!

A full house and great interest in the future of our industry! At the 76th World Foundry Congress in Istanbul, our CEO Till Schreiter took the stage to discuss one of the most important topics facing the global foundry industry: the challenges and opportunities of decarbonization.

The strong attendance and positive response showed just how relevant this topic is – and how important it is to turn ambitious sustainability goals into practical industrial solutions. A big thank you to everyone who joined the presentation and contributed to the discussion!

Proud to be part of 100 years of foundry history – and the future ahead!

What an honor for us - and what a fantastic recognition for ABP Induction! As the 76th World Foundry Congress brings the global foundry community together in Istanbul, we are especially proud to receive a Certificate of Appreciation from the World Foundry Organization (WFO) on the occasion of its 100th anniversary!

The WFO has recognized ABP Induction for our outstanding support, valued partnership, and contribution to its work. For us, this is much more than a certificate. It is a wonderful acknowledgment of our commitment to an industry that has shaped our history – and whose future we are passionate about helping to create.

Because the future of the foundry industry is a global team effort! Innovation, sustainability, digitalization, and the transition toward zero-emission technologies require strong partnerships, shared expertise, and a willingness to move forward together. This is exactly what the WFO stands for – and what drives us at ABP every single day.

Being recognized as a valued partner of this global organization during its centenary celebrations makes us incredibly proud. It also motivates us to continue contributing our expertise, technologies, and ideas to the international foundry community.

A heartfelt thank you to the World Foundry Organization for this special recognition – and congratulations on 100 remarkable years!

100 years of foundry expertise – what a milestone!

Last night, ABP had the pleasure of joining the opening celebrations of the 76th World Foundry Congress in Istanbul – and this year, there is a very special reason to celebrate: the World Foundry Organization is marking its 100th anniversary.

Since its foundation in 1926, the WFO has brought together foundry associations, research institutions and industry leaders from around the world, fostering international cooperation, technical excellence and the continuous development of casting technologies.

For ABP, being part of this centenary celebration means a lot. Our own history is deeply rooted in the foundry industry, and we share the belief that progress is driven by exchanging knowledge, building strong international partnerships and continuously developing technologies for the challenges ahead.

So, congratulations to the World Foundry Organization on an impressive 100 years – and thank you for bringing the global foundry community together!

And now we are looking forward to the 76th World Foundry Congress and many inspiring discussions here in Istanbul about innovation, digitalization, sustainability and the future of our industry.

Happy 100th anniversary, WFO!

How do technology and teamwork translate into successful solutions for our customers? The latest issue of ABP News explores this through projects, conversations and the people behind them.

Join us at InterFoundry in India, GIFA Indonesia and in Brazil, where our team connected with customers at FENAF and during site visits alongside our partner GoBR Solutions. At AT India, three successfully installed induction furnaces demonstrate how technical performance and dedicated service work together.

Our Turkish partner Fikret Koc also shares why staying close to customers and continuing to learn have shaped his career. Further highlights include the successful first test run of the research project.

You will also find opportunities to connect and develop your expertise: explore our upcoming international trade fair appearances and the latest ABP Academy training dates, with an anniversary discount celebrating five years of online training. And finally, have a look at our redesigned website!

Was bedeutet das?

Oktober 2026 in Düsseldorf: Halle 6, Stand 6F72. Wir freuen uns auf den Austausch!
