🌍🚀 Mission success!

Ariane 6 has successfully placed the Sentinel-1D satellite into Sun-Synchronous Orbit on mission VA265 from Europe’s Spaceport in French Guiana.

🛰 Sentinel-1D, developed by Thales Alenia Space for the European Commission under contract with ESA, is part of the EU’s Copernicus programme, the world’s most advanced Earth observation system. With its radar technology, it will deliver continuous, all-weather, day-and-night imagery of Earth, essential for monitoring sea ice, glaciers, subsidence, and oil spills.

This achievement marks the 3rd commercial flight of Ariane 6, strengthening Europe’s autonomous access to space.
