Milestone Alert: We’ve just taken a giant leap toward autonomous wildfire suppression.
Today in Eberswalde, Dryad Networks successfully demonstrated the first fully functional prototype of our Silvaguard drone system, an autonomous drone that responds to wildfires detected by our Silvanet sensors, providing real-time aerial monitoring.
Here’s what happened:
A controlled fire was instantly detected by our Silvanet sensor network. In response, a Silvaguard drone launched autonomously, flew to the fire’s location, and captured aerial optical and infrared footage, marking a major step toward fully autonomous wildfire response.
This is the first step:
➡️ Silvanet detects.
➡️ Silvaguard responds.
➡️ Soon, Silvaguard will extinguish.
With wildfires becoming faster and more destructive, we can no longer rely on slow, manual responses. This integrated system is a first step toward drones that extinguish fires before they spread.
