Rides Constructions purchased the Looping Star from the Attactiepark Slagharen in the Netherlands. After dismantling the coaster, Rides Constructions began the process of inspecting each segment of the coaster including the electrical systems. Corroded or damaged steel components and malfunctioning mechanical or technical parts were repaired or replaced. The Looping Star then received a completely new coating. Optical veneers, which appeared outdated were replaced in order to give the coaster a fresher, modern look. This upgrade was further enhanced by replacing the former western-style panels of the cars with a modern panel design transforming the ride into a sleek, fast Intercity Express train.
