Most training plans for women are just men’s plans with slightly lower numbers. Same zones. Same intensity distribution. Same recovery windows. Built on research done almost entirely on male athletes and handed to women as if the physiology is identical.
It is not.
Women burn fat more efficiently than men at the same relative intensity. That is a significant endurance advantage and almost no training plan is built around it. Women also produce lactate differently, respond differently to high intensity work across their hormonal cycle, and are generally less fatigable in long efforts than men at the same fitness level.
The longer the race the more these differences matter. The performance gap between men and women in endurance sport almost disappears at ultra distances. In some events women outperform men outright. Not because of mindset. Because of physiology that was built for exactly that kind of effort.
But if your training plan does not account for any of this, if it does not know your fat oxidation rate, does not adjust around your cycle, does not recognise that your metabolism works differently, you are leaving that advantage completely untrained.
You are not worse at endurance. You are just following a plan that was never built for you.
That is exactly what we are changing at .
Metabolic training built around your actual physiology, not a scaled down version of someone else’s.
