Imagine if!

Imagine if you could illuminate your cells with the same precision and confidence that you are used to when pipetting! As with other stimuli – each single photon can make the difference between a responding and a non-responding cell.
Imagine, if you did not have to ask yourself during each experiment:

🔍 Is my light source really homogeneous?

🌡️ At which light dose does the temperature increase?

🌈 Is the spectrum just right for my experiment?

☠️ Is this phototoxicity or part of my expected phenotype?

We can all learn from each other’s experiences as we are going through this together: Let’s start an open discussion about illumination in research! Which intensities and wavelengths cause which effects in which cell types?
Can we create a database for this? What do you think?

Because when we get the light right, everything else follows! 💡✨
