A beautiful speaker needs a beautiful finish🤓. In the end you will look at it on a daily basis. That's why our oldschool JBL2226/2235 combination gets a beautiful modern, matte and light surface treatment. Of course it looks great on smaller speakers as well😅 Stay tuned for the whole view!

First impressions of our cnc-machined 15" oldschool project. The 250litre enclosure will be used by our JBL 2226/2235 hybrid and giving a lower cutoff at around 32Hz at roughly 95dB/W/m🤓
We are excited to have it combined with our 900Hz biradial horn soon! 🤯 Are you excited as well?

Today we assembled the memrane-voicecoil-spider subunit. Its gonna be a JBL 2235 membrane in a 2226 basket. Using a jig to get the distances correctly, we are sure, the speaker will perform smootly in the end! If you're interested in this process, just drop us a message 👍😃

The replacement membranes have just arrived. We are very excited about building our JBL 2226/2235 clones😁🤓
They will serve as medium efficiency sub/bass/mid drivers with very low resonance frequency. From 800Hz upwards our biradial horn will start playing🎼

Got some JBL 2226 in pretty rough condition. We will recone them with a 2235/2226 combination to create some beautiful 15" hifi bass drivers. We hope to get close to TAD sound🤓 Combined with our biradial horn and a Class A amplifier it will sound smooth and punchy 🎶 🎹🎼🎵

The horn is finished and we like the looks a lot 🤓
First measurements show promising performance and a quick listening session confirms the data🎶! We are excited for the full 1.4" / 15" system. Do you have ideas for the base unit? JBL? TAD? B&C?

The 1.4" biradial horns are finished and ready to be measured🎶. We will build a two way system with a crossover frequency of around 900Hz to 1000Hz and a 15" woofer in a reflex enclosure. Any ideas for a bass driver? We are thinking JBL, 18Sound or even TAD?🤓

After sanding and gluing, the 1.4" biradial horn starts to look awesome🎶😎 With the adapter and the side walls, one can really imagine the way it will present itself. We are super excited about the musical quality with the projected 18Sound and B&C drivers. 🤓
