A new chapter for one of Southern Germany’s oldest half-timbered ensembles. 🤎 The Museum Historical Oberamteistraße brings together careful preservation and a striking contemporary addition. While the historic buildings become exhibits themselves, the new structure completes the lost corner volume and supports the fragile neighbouring houses. 👀 Its timber framework and translucent glass-tile envelope create a delicate architectural presence — shifting between reflection, depth and light. A building that protects, connects and makes history visible in a new way.

Designed as a prototype for efficient high-rise construction, the building reaches up to 12 floors and approx. 4,800 m² GFA - showcasing scalable, modular architecture in a real-world context. Set within a 16.5 ha campus with 2,500+ employees, the project reflects GOLDBECK’s ambition to expand its portfolio into vertical building typologies—combining performance, clarity, and identity.
