proTEC 5-Master is the renowned five-flame system producing five simultaneous flames, now technically refined with the proTEC safety architecture, state-of-the-art DMX technology, and an improved touring design for modern stage and outdoor applications. It generates the signature TBF flame design with five individually controllable jets reaching heights of up to 6 meters, creating powerful and clearly defined flame effects.
The custom-developed combustible fluid meets the highest safety standards, particularly for indoor applications. It evaporates rapidly and prevents the accumulation of flammable residue on the ground, ensuring clean and reliable operation even during continuous use.
Operation with compressed air or nitrogen enables precise flame control and smooth transitions between effects. Pressure-stable fuel delivery maintains consistent flame height throughout the entire tank volume, even during continuous firing.
The system operates on the proTEC safety protocol for structured operational safety and emergency-stop-chain integration. It supports DMX, ArtNet, and an onboard web server for configuration and monitoring within the TBF safety network.

The proTEC Powerguard is a professional power distribution and protection unit designed for demanding stage and SFX environments. It combines intelligent power distribution, electronic circuit protection, and full integration into the proTEC Safety Architecture, using high-quality Siemens components for maximum reliability and transparent system monitoring.
Power is supplied through a 32 A CEE three-phase input (400 V) with integrated phase monitoring for detecting phase loss and wiring errors. Voltage indication and load display for all phases allow continuous monitoring of the network load. The unit provides six PowerCON TRUE1 outputs, each rated for 16 A / 230 V, using locking connectors designed for professional touring and stage applications.
Each output is protected and monitored via Siemens SENTRON ECPD (Electronic Circuit Protection Device). This electronic protection technology replaces conventional circuit breakers and provides channel-level current measurement with continuous monitoring of load, overload, short circuit, and fault conditions. The system continuously measures current per output and enables fast detection and targeted isolation of faults.
Outputs can be switched individually and controlled via DMX, while channels can be freely assigned to PTSC (proTEC Safety Channel) groups. This allows flexible safety configurations in which individual outputs or groups of outputs can share the same safety channel. Each channel can independently enter Emergency Halt or Emergency Stop states.
Each output can be configured in several operating modes: permanently active, permanently disabled, controlled exclusively via the proTEC safety protocol, or controlled via DMX with PTSC acting as the overriding safety layer.
This architecture enables selective channel control without affecting the remaining outputs, ensuring precise fault handling and high system availability during operation. proTEC Liquid Booster is an auxiliary pump unit designed to supply the Magna Fluvia Flame when extended suction heights or longer fuel lines are required. It increases the maximum suction height of the Magna Fluvia Flame from 10 m to 50 m and allows one booster unit to reliably supply up to four Magna Fluvia Flame devices simultaneously, ensuring stable operation and even fuel distribution even across different height levels.
The unit is built for touring environments with a heavy-duty stainless-steel housing and integrated truss mounts that can be adjusted in multiple positions for flexible installation on stage. All components are accessible for quick backstage servicing with minimal tools.
Specially developed TBF quick couplings for flammable liquids provide drip-free and safe connections. An integrated control unit continuously monitors suction and fuel delivery, ensuring reliable operation at all times.

proTEC Stagebox is a safety and emergency-stop controller for stage SFX systems, providing SIL3-compliant load disconnection for both proTEC and third-party devices.
Designed for installation in dimmer cities as well as on, next to, or behind the stage, the unit fits into standard 19″ rack systems. SIL3-certified CEE load-disconnection relays ensure safe shutdown of connected SFX devices.
Within the emergency-stop chain, the Stagebox enables SIL3-compliant shutdown of proTEC and third-party equipment, with SIL3-certified 16 A, 32 A, and 63 A CEE load-disconnection versions available.
Within the proTEC safety architecture, communication between all devices is handled through the Ethernet-based proTEC Safety Protocol.
Two safety functions are available: Emergency Halt provides a short-term safe shutdown, while Emergency Stop performs a complete shutdown with mandatory restart.
The system supports DMX, ArtNet, and sACN and extends existing show-control networks with the proTEC safety architecture. An integrated node function allows seamless network integration.
