New Calibration Service Options now available:

at B*K-Gardner, we are continually evolving our service offerings to better meet our customers’ needs.

To provide greater flexibility, calibration certificates will no longer be automatically included with calibration services. Instead, certificates can now be selected as an optional add-on for each instrument calibrated, allowing customers to choose the level of documentation that best fits their requirements.

In addition, the cost of calibration verification is no longer included in the calibration service price. Verification services are now available as a separate option and can be purchased whenever needed.

Bangkok Recap: Color, Innovation & Customer Exchange. Last week, we had the pleasure of hosting a customer seminar in Bangkok together with our partner ILab Fluid Control.

Around 40 professionals from the paint and plastics industries joined us to learn more about:

- Our new color2go and color2check instrument family
- New color equations for solid colors
- Visual color evaluation and the latest byko-spectra LED 6 light booth technology

One of the highlights was the active participation of our customers. Several attendees brought their own samples, leading to hands-on discussions and live measurements that made the sessions especially interactive and practical.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and contributed to the great exchange of ideas. Events like these demonstrate the value of combining technical expertise with direct customer engagement.

If the L*a*b* value remains the same, why does the color still appear different? Color Hunting is a fascinating exercise that helps us consciously explore the boundaries between objective color measurement and subjective color perception.
It is a creative trend originating in the fields of photography and design that is currently gaining traction on social media. The basic principle is simple: you choose a specific color and photograph everything in that shade in your surroundings.

However, a color is never just “one” color. Depending on the lighting, surface structure, and surroundings, its appearance changes – often more dramatically than we expect. We invite you to follow this current trend: to focus on a specific color in your everyday life, not aesthetically but analytically. What happens to this color in the shade? How does gloss change how we perceive it? And why does the same shade suddenly look “different” in different contexts?

Use Color Hunting as a conscious perception exercise – feel free to use the reference color “B*K Blue”!
