MushRoots has officially launched in retail, now available in Germany at REWE Nord and Austria at Billa Plus.

This milestone marks the beginning of a new culinary adventure: making mushrooms the new hero on the plate. Our Pilz-Hack, Pilz-Bällchen and Pilz-Patties show what’s possible when mushrooms lead the ingredient list. Simple, delicious food with an umami taste provided by nature. An upgrade, not an imitation.

This wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing team who pushed boundaries, challenged assumptions, created solutions and turned their passion for mushrooms into our products. This milestone is your work, your resilience, your belief. 👏👏👏

We are thrilled to be featured by the European Patent Office (EPO) in their most recent case study on turning mycelium tech and IP into business possibilities and capital.

Infinite Roots is betting on a tightly integrated IP stack – patents, trademarks, and trade secrets – to scale its technology. The EPO case study shows that this IP architecture doesn’t just protect tech, but also underpins investor confidence, enables partnerships, and opens various revenue opportunities.

At the core of Infinite Roots strategy is an “IP‑by‑design” approach across the entire value chain with the goal to lock down process, data, and product innovation in tandem. Guided by business and patent intelligence, IP becomes an extremely critical pillar in the life of a deep-tech startup and its importance increases with each funding round. “It’s fair to say that if patent protection had not been possible for this technology, we would not have invested in Series B.”, says Oliver Pabst, General Partner at redalpine.
