Would you know what to do in an emergency?🚑

Knowing how to react quickly and correctly can make all the difference. That’s why our colleagues recently took part in a first aid training course to refresh their knowledge and continue their role as workplace first aiders. To ensure our first aiders are always prepared and their skills stay up to date, this training is repeated every two years. A big thank you to everyone who takes on this important responsibility and helps us create a safer workplace! 🙌

We had a visitor last week! 👀

Anna Radlowska, from our Polish office spent a few days with us in Hamburg.
Although we're in regular contact, there are always things that work better face-to-face. From catching up on current projects and discussing market developments to simply spending time together, the visit was a good reminder of how valuable personal exchanges remain.
It's easy to focus on products and logistics, but strong cooperation starts with the people behind them.

Following his visit to the USA, our COO Matin Ghaffari has now continued his journey to India.🌏🤝

Our Indian team plays a key role in our global supply chain. Through their close relationships with suppliers and their deep understanding of the local market, they help ensure a reliable flow of raw materials and valuable insights from the region.

For teams that work closely together across different countries and time zones, personal visits matter. They create space for conversations that do not happen in a video call, strengthen day-to-day collaboration, and help maintain the strong connections that keep our supply chain moving.

🏃Running Together in the HafenCity🏃

Last Saturday, we swapped our desks for running shoes and joined the annual HafenCity Run in Hamburg.

Together, we took on the 4 km route through the city, not to chase personal bests, but to support a good cause and spend time together outside the office.

It was great to be back at the starting line and take part in such a positive event. See you next year, HafenCity Run!

SIMPPAR 2026 in Grasse, France! The historic heart of the fragrance industry 🇫🇷

Stephan Bourjau, our Product Manager for Flavours & Fragrances, is currently in Grasse, France attending the International Exhibition of Raw Materials for Perfumery

This year’s edition brings together 128 exhibitors from 24 countries, showcasing the latest innovations in perfumery raw materials, sustainable ingredients, and new extraction technologies. From natural essential oils to aroma molecules, SIMPPAR is a key meeting point for experts and innovators across the fragrance world.

What does international collaboration look like in practice? 🌍

As the USA is one of our largest and most important locations, close alignment between our international teams is key. That’s why our CEO Ramin Ghaffari and COO Matin Ghaffari recently visited our colleagues in Boston as part of their regular in-person exchange.

During the visit, they took time to align on ongoing projects and discuss next steps across teams. These regular on-site meetings help ensure smooth collaboration and keep us moving forward as one global organization.

Private Labels are shaping today’s retail market!

That is why the PLMA in Amsterdam was such an exciting event for us 🇳🇱. As one of the leading trade fairs for the international private label industry, it offers insights into current developments and brings together companies from all over the world.
Our Hamburg colleagues Jan Kämpfer and Julian Staack had the opportunity to experience these insights firsthand and exchange ideas directly with international partners and privat label manufacturers.

We are especially happy that our apprentice Pia Musch was also part of the visit. Supporting young talents with practical experience and real industry insights helps her grow in every aspect of her apprenticeship📚.

Our Italian colleague Luca Decursu attended TUTTOFOOD Milano, a trade show focused on the small and medium-sized Italian food industry.

The fair brought together companies from across the food sector and created the opportunity to meet existing customers, connect with potential new partners, and discuss new business opportunities.

As we continue to grow our presence in Italy, being part of events like this helps us stay close to the market and strengthen our network locally 🤝
