The visit was a great opportunity to provide an in‑depth tour through our laboratories and workshop to showcase our capabilities at hte. A special focus was placed on our long‑standing and successful collaboration across teams and our covered topics ranging from high throughput testing and digital tools for analysis to innovative research.

Both bring many years of hands-on leadership experience and a deep understanding of hte from different angles. Michael Paul has built strong connections between technology, business development, and customer applications, while Denis Hürtgen has helped drive hte’s technological development and has been instrumental in shaping the company’s hardware and software portfolio.

Together, they combine deep customer insight, technological expertise, and a strong drive for Hashtag . We’re excited to contribute to a joint publication in Chemie Ingenieur Technik with 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘀𝗰𝗵𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘀𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗺 𝗝ü𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗵, presenting the first patent-protected electrochemical screening system of its kind on the market and addressing a key question in electrochemical reaction engineering:

hte is strengthening its technology portfolio through a strategic with Kayser Technology, Inc. (KTI). By acquiring the 𝗔𝗖𝗘® 𝗔𝗣 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 and securing exclusive rights to additional ACE® systems, hte is purposefully expanding its expertise in laboratory testing.

The 𝗔𝗖𝗘® 𝗔𝗣 platform is an internationally established industry standard for the precise evaluation and optimization of FCC catalysts. Going forward, hte will build and further develop the technology in Heidelberg and deploy it both for customer testing services and for system sales—ensuring the highest data quality, reliability, and increased market capacity.

This collaboration underscores the shared commitment of hte and KTI to securing long-term, global access to standardized FCC laboratory testing.
