En garde – recap on world-class fencing at the Voith Cup 🤺

Exciting battles and full concentration right up to the final touch.

We were delighted to support the as a sponsoring partner during the Heidenheimer Fechtertage beginning of February – and we’re truly impressed by the discipline, focus, and fair play that make fencing so special. These are exactly the same qualities that shape our daily work at Voith. 🤝

The trophy was presented to the winners of the Voith Cup by Katharina Agüera, Senior Vice President Group Communications. Congratulations to the winners from France as well as to the teams from Korea and the Netherlands on their second and third place finishes and a big thank you to the organizing team for a thoroughly successful tournament. 🏆

Especially during the colder months, standing together makes all the difference. ❄️

From January 18 to February 11, our apprentices, dual students and pupils of the Hanns Voith School dedicated their time and energy to support the Vesperkirche in Heidenheim, a seasonal community program at the local church. During these weeks, the initiative provided warm meals, open doors and became a place of human connection for people across the region. 🍲

has been part of the initiative since 2017: Working behind the scenes, our young volunteers help ensure everything runs smoothly, proving that even quiet contributions can make a big impact.

Thank you to everyone who stepped in and took responsibility. 🙏

Today is International Day of Acceptance! ✨
Diversity makes us stronger and acceptance is the key. About 15% of the world’s population lives with a disability. Did you know that more than 80% of these are invisible?
Many people live with chronic illnesses, mental health challenges, or other conditions that are not im-mediately visible – and this affects more colleagues in the workplace than we often realize. Together, we make sure no one is overlooked.

The International Day of Acceptance reminds us how important it is to listen actively, use respectful language, offer help when needed, and challenge our own biases.

Let’s show today and every day: acceptance starts with each of us.

Let’s start the new year by doing good together. Voith has selected the winning projects for the current round. 🤝

“Through our program, we promote the commitment of our colleagues and support local projects and charitable initiatives around the world – in a very concrete way and with direct added value for society,” says Katharina Rath, CPO Voith Group.

As part of our social responsibility, we focus on education and training for children, adolescents, and young adults, as well as science and research in sustainable technologies. In fiscal year 2025/26, twelve projects will receive support through the program, bringing the total number of supported projects to 162 within the last four years. Here are the winning projects by region! 🌏

Our people turn commitment into real-world impact through . 💪

Jugendinitiative Lautern e.V. is building a new garden shed – a creative hub for crafting, building, and connecting. Since 1979, the initiative has empowered young people in Lautern, and this new space will provide sufficient space for weekly activities and holiday programs. Our colleague Lukas Gröner serves on the board of the association and submitted this project – thank you, Lukas, for creating unforgettable memories with many kids in Lautern.
