🌱 Making sustainability measurable – step by step.

🤔 How can the carbon footprint of a care bed be calculated? What measures can help to reduce packaging materials and energy consumption? And what role does sustainability play for our customers worldwide?

➡️ In our latest interview, Sustainability Manager Moritz Pellmann provides insights into the Stiegelmeyer Group’s sustainability strategy. Among other things, he discusses the calculation of the Product Carbon Footprint in collaboration with the Fraunhofer Institute, as well as concrete successes in conserving resources. For example, the use of plastic film at our plant in Herford has been significantly reduced, and electricity consumption per bed delivered has been noticeably lowered.
