Knowledge Transfer in Action: LASER.region.AACHEN Visits Aconity3D

This week, we had the pleasure of welcoming members of the LASER.region.AACHEN as well as students of FH Aachen to our headquarters.

After a brief introduction to Aconity3D and our technology, we moved straight into practice: in small groups, we showcased our systems and gave insights into machine design for LPBF, and DED. Theory turned into experience, right in our application center.

To wrap up the visit, there was time for networking and exchange, after all, the best collaborations often start with a personal conversation. We're curious to see what partnerships might emerge from this day.

Over a week has passed since our Aconity𝙓𝙋𝙀𝙍𝙄𝙀𝙉𝘾𝙀, and the best way to capture what that day felt like is simply to let the footage speak for itself. So rather than tell you about it, we'll show you instead.

A huge thank you to Technologiepark Herzogenrath for producing this video and for their continued support. TPH holds a special place in our story: Aconity3D called it home for many years, before we moved into our own building almost three years ago.
And speaking of that journey, there's more to come. Stay tuned as we take you from our years at TPH to where we stand today.

Day 2 of our 2nd Aconity3D USER Conference was all about hands-on experience, collaboration, and exchanging knowledge directly in practice.

Yesterday's program featured interactive workshops at the Aconity3D headquarters, where participants gained new insights, explored practical applications, and discussed real-world challenges and solutions in additive manufacturing together with our team and partners.

Another highlight of the day was our company visit to Pulsar Photonics GmbH. A special thank you to Sonja Wichert and the entire team for welcoming us on-site and for the exciting company tour and insights into your work and technologies.

We would also like to thank all workshop leaders for sharing their expertise and providing valuable hands-on input throughout the day.

And just like that, the 2nd Aconity3D USER Conference has come to an end.
But the Aconity𝙒𝙀𝙀𝙆 is not over yet — we are looking forward to everyone joining us to close out the week together at the TSCHIO Aachen.

Day 1 of our 2nd Aconity3D USER Conference is almost over — and what an inspiring day it has been.

Today at in Aachen, we had the pleasure of listening to exciting presentations from industry and research by Dr. Tim Lantzsch, Hunter Taylor, Arvid Abel, Simon Vervoort, Dr. Dominic Bartels, Philipp Kurze, César Terrazas-Nájera, Joseph Hofmann, Tobias Baranzke, Dr. Michael Robert Tucker, Lukas Fuhrmann and Mehrdad Mehrbakhsh. A huge thank you to all speakers for sharing valuable insights into their work and applications in additive manufacturing.

We would also like to thank all participants and sponsors for being part of this great first conference day.

Now, we are looking forward to ending the evening together at the historic Ratskeller Aachen — with great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and many inspiring conversations to continue exchanging today’s impressions and ideas.
